Deoxys (Speed Forme)'s Public Suggestions

Deoxys (Speed Forme)
psychic

Starmie only 2.7 times better

General Selections
Item Leftovers
Ability Pressure
Nature Timid (+Spd / -Atk)
Move Selections
~ Recover
~ Ice Beam
~ Psychic
~ Thunderbolt
Stat EVs
HP 252
Atk 0
Def 0
Sp.Atk 176
Sp.Def 0
Spd 80

This set is basically Starmie except 2.7 times better. Thunderbolt for Gyarados, Ice Beam for Garchomp/Salamence/Dragonite/Any Other Dragon, and Psychic for Infernape. Considering this thing is so fast you could change the EVs so you could outrun Choice Scarf pokemon, but you'll be much weaker. Plus with the sub-normal defense and the 252 HP you'll be able to live;

  1. Waterfall from a DD'd Gyrados
  2. Outrage from any Garchomp not Choice Banded
  3. Revenge Dugtrio (Adamant+ Choice Band) Sucker Punch won't kill you either.

This isn't meant to sweep, but rather take out things that could cause a threat to your team.

Double Screen

General Selections
Item Light Clay
Ability Pressure
Nature Timid (+Spd / -Atk)
Move Selections
~ Light Screen
~ Reflect
~ Taunt
~ Recover
Stat EVs
HP 252
Atk 0
Def 4
Sp.Atk 0
Sp.Def 0
Spd 252

You can also replace Recover with spikes if you choose.

Open with this set. It has the ability to stop all of those leads that try to Stealth Rock. Then you can follow up by creating a Dual Screen (Light Screen+Reflect) lasting for 8 turns with Light Clay. Stealth Rock can be used over Spikes, consider SR take one turn to set up, however with Deoxys being able to set up three layers of Spikes you may use that instead.

Reflect will help much as it allows you to survive a Crunch from a Choice Banded Tyranitar.

If you have someone who can already set up SR or just don't want spikes you can use Recover. With this you'll be able to come in again and set up later game.

Physical set

General Selections
Item Leftovers
Ability Pressure
Nature Jolly (+Spd / -Sp.Atk)
Move Selections
~ Recover
~ ThunderPunch
~ Ice Punch
~ Aerial Ace
Stat EVs
HP 252
Atk 184
Def 0
Sp.Atk 0
Sp.Def 0
Spd 72

Zen Headbutt can replace Aerial Ace.

The same concept as the one before, however this is more physically oriented. Thunderpunch gives you the ability to take on Gyarados will Icepunch will give you the quick one against all those Dragons. I picked Aerial Ace over Zen Headbutt for the Heracross factor. Giving Heracross 4X weakness to Flying-Type moves, this will also cover Infernape. However I'm not sure if this will OHKO him, so if you want the OHKO on Infernape rather then Heracross you can chose ZH, however AA will take them both on rather then just one of them.
