I could go on and on about all the different things shown in this video collage below taken from the Japanese Nintendo Channel, or I could tell you to just jump right in. The amount of new footage here is ridiculous. Special thanks to 1204johnny who posted the videos originally, in three parts, on YouTube. Click his name to go to his channel and watch the videos individually but in slightly higher quality. What you can see below is all three videos combined into one for simplicities sake along with some redundant footage removed.
And now to cover what we've seen in a conclusive list :D
- Team Plasma is fascinated with the fossil of an unknown Pokémon (some speculate that it is a Dragon).
- There is quicksand in the desert which appears to drop you somewhere.
- The evolution screen/animation has been drastically enhanced and looks awesome if we do say so ourselves.
- A swamp-like area is shown under the conditions of the seasons.
- Surf speed appears to be enhanced and there are ramps that you jump off of while Surfing, similar to in RSE.
- Roads are shown in the desert. Semi-trucks are crossing over you on a bridge.
- High Link appears to have a mission where a player turns into a Machop.
- Iris is shown in a pure white building next to a Team Plasma grunt.
Pokémon related tidbits...
- Moguryuu is briefly shown evolving into Doryuuzu.
- Minezumi is seen at level 4 in the wild.
- Shimama is seen at level 8 in the wild.
- Chillarmy is seen at level 22 in the wild.
- Wargle is seen at level 50 in the wild and uses Giga Impact; Hihidaruma also uses Giga Impact.
- Mamanbou appears to use Wish.
- Shimama is switched in and attacks on the same turn (seriously, watch it in the video, no time lapse).
- Reshiram and Zekrom are shown using attacks the utilize camera movement very heavily.
Having watched this video a couple of times we have stumbled upon something interesting. We've known that Dento's gym is the first that you encounter and that is intended to be a sort of training/test. We've known that, from screenshots and videos, the gym seems to feature Grass/Fire/Water types: based on patterning on the floor and his badge using all three of those colors.
Now, watching this video reveals that while the battle with Dento starts with only him it ends, with the awarding of a badge, with two other characters standing behind him. Dento, note green hair, and the two behind him, note with red and blue hair, are all standing together. What this means is obviously unknown and saying anything more than what has already said would be speculation but... These games are introducing triple battles and the gym does focus on training... Only time will tell as it is now September in most parts of the world and that means we've got about 18 days until lift-off, depending on where you live. Also, to the right, you can see a rough image depicting the first five badges!

We have updated, below, with full scans from the October CoroCoro Special edition. There is nothing new in the scans, aside from what is reported about combination attacks, but we've put them up anyway. The scans were made by a blogger in Japan going by Shellspider. Please note that if you visit the blog that there are other images, such as an evolution of Koromori and Tsutarja, which are likely fakes.
There was previously an image of what appeared to be the female administrator of Team Plasma, however it's since been proved to be fake as it was nothing more than an edit of promotional material for the Jirachi movie which aired in 2003. Sorry! The girl in question just happened to be a female character from the movie (Diane) with recolored hair.

We've got a serious case of the Mondays here...
CoroCoro Special, a bimonthly extension of CoroCoro, has revealed that a new feature will be occurring in double and triple battles in Pokémon Black and White. See the scan in the middle for these images. Apparently there is an option which allows players to choose to combine the attacks of Pokémon of the same team that are attacking in a single turn, again only available in double/triple battles where the attacks can be put together, that will create new effects on the battle field. A few examples were given, and they follow, using a group of new moves being introduced (for instance Grass Oath, which was previously revealed) that possess similar naming mechanics.
It may or may not be coincidence that these moves have similar names: as in the similarity may indicate that these types of effects are limited to a certain strata of moves. At this point we can only speculate as to what the overall effect of this mechanic will be as well as to how far it extends into existing attacks.
- Grass Oath + Fire Oath = a ring of fire surrounds the opponents: opponents are burned for an unspecified amount of turns. Similar to a Sandstorm or Hailstorm perhaps.
- Fire Oath + Water Oath = a rainbow displays over the field: secondary effects of moves increases. Similar to Serene Grace perhaps.
- Grass Oath + Water Oath = marsh-like conditions are created: the speed of the opponents' Pokémon is lowered.
Residents of the United States can click the image above to participate in a sweepstakes being offered by Pokémon.com. The contest will continue until 11:59PM September 19th (a Sunday). Participants need only to submit their email address, a limit to once a day and at the end of the week, starting with the first drawing on September 7th, a Grand Prize winner and 100 runner-ups will be announced. Runner-ups will receive a special Pokémon TCG tin. Grand prize winners will receive a Nintendo DSi XL, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the official HGSS walkthrough and PokéDex, all three TCG collector's tins and what appears to be a bunch of booster packs as well.
A final note on an unrelated topic. If you have been following the The493 Gallery collection since mid-July, when it was started, Teej has been adding new wallpapers daily. Fortunately for him and his carpal tunnel syndrome, we will be finishing the collection this week. Updates are still being made daily and the final one will be this Friday. Be sure to check the changelog these final days, or just visit the Gallery by clicking the image below!

For a very minor news update, after the end of the 189th anime episode, a new preview for the Best Wishes anime was shown. While we do not cover anime related news, this particular update can be argued to be game related. In the less than perfect screenshot below, Dento is shown celebrating side by side with a Yanappu, strongly implying that the Pokémon belongs to him (something that most people already speculated with Pokémon Sunday's little tidbit). While the anime does not have to line-up flawlessly with the games, it's safe to say that Dento will probably use this Yanappu in the games as well in his position as the Isshu region's first leader. Does that make him a Grass-type leader?
Update: Replaced the picture with a much better one. For those who wish to see the different previews for the anime, check out the promotional site here!
