Real quick here, Rotom's page @PokémonPlatinum.com reveals the dates for various methods of distribution for the Secret Key, which you may already know allows access to a room where you can change Rotom's Forme. Dates for the various methods are provided below.
- WiFi Mystery Gift: 4/20/09 - 5/12/09
- TRU Mystery Gift (in-store):: 4/19 - 4/26
Those who wish to recieve the item for this particular event must own Platinum and live in Canada, the United States, or Puerto Rico.

Locations and Dates for Qualifiers
- Seattle, WA: May 9th
- San Francisco, CA: May 16th
- Phoenix, AZ: May 23rd
- Dallas, TX: May 30
- Philadelphia, PA: June 6th
- Nashville, TN: June 13
The National Championship is June 27th in St. Louis, MO.
The World Championship will be held August 14 in San Diego, CA.
Player's must own Pokémon Platinum. The tournament is in doubles format and many legendaries are ineligible (inlike in previous tournaments). A complete list of rules can be found here.
All entrants will recieve a Shiny Milotic with a Flame Orb and the moves Rain Dance, Recover, Hydro Pump and Icy Wind. It will also have a Classic Ribbon.
