Well, the official CoroCoro website has updated with an interesting image...
There's a clear indication that Generation V is approaching. Spin-offs are essentially removed from the discussion as all of the games depicted are main-installments, or are the remakes we've come to expect with each Generation.
As well, Pokébeach posted some interesting speculation regarding the identity of the Pokémon silhouette we saw over the weekend. Lots of discussion has been had and the consensus seems to be either a completely new Pokémon or perhaps something related to Lucario given the similarity in body-type, number of toes and feet, and Lucario's Aura ability portrayed in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
Pokébeach, however, speculates that it could be an evolution of Mightyena. As the gift bag above shows Mightyena makes an appearance, the center to be exact and perhaps indicative of an obvious hint at the role of the Pokémon in the movie, along with a slew of other monsters which are confirmed to have roles in the upcoming film. What's more? We'd agree that there is a "Werewolf"--esque look to the silhouette and Mightyena evolving into such isn't a stretch at all. Werewolves do take on human-shape body structure once transforming.
Let us not forget one last thing here. Assuming Generation Five follows the same pattern of the previous, we're looking at an eventual Ruby/Sapphire remake. Mightyena comes from the Third Generation and we can expect to see a bit of Hoenn relatives appearing in this new region!
