Ok, so I'm technically two days late... I forgot the Presidential Debate was on Friday night.
ANYWAYS we've got a massive update here! To start things off, as promised, I composed a page that covers the story behind the new banner, for that go to read Gyarados of Kanagawa.
I've also mentioned the fact that our News Archive section was operating without an index or way of navigating to old stories (at least without searching the forum for those links). So I've gotten the index for that taken care of, it is here. For now it comes with no additional navigation because this is only the 13th story posted and saved in the engine (and I have no others...).
Last but certainly not least there is a slew of new DPP pages! The new pages detail the legends in each of the games based in Sinnoh. Use the following list to check them out...
While managing those pages I determined that I was borderlined wasting some of my time. This is because I want pages like that to be able to link out to respective pages in, at least, the PokéDex. It was then that it occured to me that while I was working on the script, but somewhat dreading the mass data assembly that remained [technically this is only 489 Pokémon but meh], all I was referencing were Sinnoh native Pokémon. I determined, at a total of 210, that I would essentially halt massive DPP page outings like this [still putting out a page every few days to keep a steady pace] but that I would focus on the data entry for Sinnoh Dex Pokémon.
The benefit there is that there will be an established Dex to link these articles to. It would also permit testing of the script I developed to manage it and work out any kinks before going all out with another 283 entries! So, I'm not going to tie myself down with a date but know that the only data left to compile here is the actual PokéData and who gets what from Platinum Move Tutors. All else is already assembled.
Point is, like the last few days, I'm going to be moving a bit slow, things are happening, and in due time you'll begin to see the evidence. Until then, late.
