Credit goes to True Gaming, as they are the ones who got the scans. The images are large, so consider this your warning. You can clearly see all the details though, which is fantastic. Nothing new, as it's the same pics as from CoroCoro. It shows the scene where you pick your starter, finding Team Rocket in front of the SlowPoké Well-which is reached by walking down a slope/ramp, something new to the games, though minor-outside of Kurt's house in Azalea Town, art of Chikorita, a clear view of the bottom screen (which now has the menu on it), and the information below. It also confirms that, for those who for whatever reason had doubt, the games will be made for DS; does this mean no DSi bonuses?
In regards to the new girl, it has been confirmed that she will play the role of the supporting character if you were to pick the male, and vice versa if you choose the new girl. We had assumed this before, as if you look at all the other game pairings, they are more or less gender opposites. This new girl even shares a similar jacket design beneath her overalls. Kris on the other hand was nothing like Gold. R.I.P. Kris..
The Pikachu-Coloured Pichu seems to be enough to activate the Ilex Forest event, meaning that there won't only be one Notch-Ear Pichu. Having the shiny Pichu triggers the event. Is this our Celebi event? Maybe, maybe not.
There is one new thing revealed in these scans, and that's an event in Platinum that is unlocked by using the event Arceus. There is a Hiker in the Oreburgh Mine who tells you Arceus' story as the creation Pokémon. You can later see him in Canalave Library, where he tells you he has submitted a book containing all the information on the plates.
