As promised today is the last day of updates for The493 collection of wallpapers. For those that may be wondering what was added last, it was Nosepass. Click the link below to visit the gallery but don't head over there too fast, check out the paragraph below for some exclusive wallpapers!
We have coordinated with several websites to celebrate this occasion. Each website that opted to join us will be providing its own, unique, wallpaper for download. You will not be able to get them from us. As our friends post articles about today's event we will link to them from here so you know where to find them. Be sure to check back with us for those updates if you are interested in getting those special wallpapers.
- One wallpaper can be found at GoNintendo
- A second wallpaper can be found at PokéJungle
- A third wallpaper can be found at LegendaryPokémon
- The fourth and final wallpaper can be found at BulbaGarden
Remember that Pokémon Black/White are slated for release in only 15 days. Remember to check back with us on Saturdays for Pokémon Sunday video coverage. When the games are released we will be featuring massive coverage of the games. Including streaming, YouTube walkthroughs, PokéDex updates and web-pages designed to help trainers progress through the game. We're fully prepared so please join us, news up until then is sure to be pretty hectic!
We'd also like to take this opportunity to formerly announce our intention to work with Arty2 of LegendaryPokémon.net on his project The Pokémon Standards Initiative. Click the image to the left to read the full article at LP.net. In short, though, the Standards Initiative aims to standardize Pokémon data presentation, storage and more in streamlined and open source format so as to allow Pokémaniacs, such as yourself, to move easily from site to site with your Pokémon data and would require all sites to present data in a single, standardized, format. Another benefit is to provide webmasters with an open dataset, which would truly make our jobs easier; 7 webmasters and 7 datasets is not nearly as logical as having 7 webmasters working on a single dataset together. This is truly a project concept to behold and we're ready to work with others on an open source streamlining of data!
