Allow us to reiterate the philosophies of evolutions. Then let us apply that train of thoughts to tracks made out of the finest PLDHian timber. Yeah, we're going places now. Today is the official launch of the fifth generation of PLDH!
Some changes you'll probably notice right away is the placement of the userbar at the top of the screen and that the width of the site has been increased. Notice that the userbar stays in it's position regardless where you on the site, even while scrolling. This makes accessing your User Control Panel much easier, and backtracking through the site map. Now redirect your attention to the multiple arrow buttons on the page. Clicking these arrows summons a dropdown menu, and to make it disappear simply click the arrow. The one in the userbar presents opportunities to view different topics and look at forum features, while the ones in the navigation bar (where you see Home, Basics, Guides, etc) allows you to leap right to certain pages without having to find it in each section's index page.
For those of you that have visited or used the PLDH LiVE page, where our stream is hosted and we control our coverage of new games when we receive them, you should be quite familiar with the new homepage. Many of those features have been added to our homepage as well, to make for a comprehensive reporting system right here, of many of the respectable sources in the Pokémon community. Clicking the button "News from Elsewhere" does exactly what you would think it does- it shows you, believe it or not, news from elsewhere! Specifically, at the bottom of page. "Recent Tweets" shows recent tweets from news sites, and "Current Pokémon Events" lists all of the upcoming Pokémon events we don't want you to miss!

Currently, you're looking at the main theme for PLDHv5; CarboniteBlackWhite. We'd like to believe this is our best work for a site style to date. Do not worry, however, the rest of the styles shall soon be converted to v5 in the future. For now, we wish to test the waters with the primary style that has determined much of the design choices across the site for this new iteration.
If you have anything you wish to mention about PLDHv5, let it be errors you've found, general complaints, or even praises, please do let us know in discussion topic, because PLDH is your site as much as it is ours. We hope you enjoy what we believe is our most efficient and sleek stage of PLDH ever created!
