#3 Goldenrod Gym, Whitney
Goldenrod Gym has changed dramatically since GSC. You will find two levels. The floor level and one comprised of archways connected by bridges. You will need to navigate this bridge-maze to face Whitney.
Upon entering head to the left and go up the stairs. You have the option of going north or south, either way you will face a trainer.
Assuming you headed north, read on. After defeating this trainer head east and down the staircase you eventually run into. You now have two options. Head north or head south. South is optional. If you do go south, go through the archway you will see. Enter it and face another trainer. Once done go back the way you came. If you didn't go south for the optional trainer battle simply head north-west and through the archway there.
Assuming you headed south, read on. After this battle you will be forced down a dead-end or down a staircase. Choose the staircase. Head east and through the archway for a trainer battle. When this is finished head north and ignore the staircase you see. Wrap around the bridge-way, and head for the next archway you see on the left.
Regardless of which way you went initially you will end up at the same place. Head west and you will be forced into another battle. Complete this challenge, head north and engage in your final trainer battle for this gym. This trainer will step forward and block you. Head back south and where the trainer that blocked you initially stood, a path will have opened. Take this path to face Whitney.
Completing all trainer battles in this gym will yield 1,895 EXP and and 2,304 PokéDollars.

To get Whitney to battle you again you must first locate her to obtain her number...

- Location: Goldenrod City Department Store (Sixth Floor)
After getting her number you must call her Saturday afternoon. Once this is done she will appear at the Dojo in Saffron City.
