Swarming Pokémon

Swarms, or Mass Outbreaks, have been a staple since the original Gold and Silver games were released and we find this game mechanic returning once again in the Unova region. As is always the case with swarms, they do not occur until after you have obtained the National Dex.

The way for you to figure out where a swarm is occurring in these games is simply to watch the text on the boards when passing in-between a route, town or city. There are a total of 21 possible swarms in these games, the exact same number as seen in HearGold/SoulSilver.
