Pokémon Black and White are the first new main-franchise games since 2006's Diamond and Pearl. They were announced April 8, 2010 and are the first installments in the fifth generation of games. The games were initially released in Japan on September 18th, and will be localized this coming Spring.
Leading up to the release, information on them was scarce as GAME FREAK controlled the news flow through its various outlets: CoroCoro magazine, the Pokémon Sunday show and the official site (English | Japanese). PLDH now sports a PokéDex up-to-date with all new abilities, moves and Pokémon, with new pages dedicated to new features in the games being created as well.
Right now you can check out the various pages we have assembled, and have continued to keep up-to-date, regarding Black and White. For instance: our Gallery, New Pokémon, etc; find more using the menu to the right.
