A second chance.

The idea is a simple one- Gain a second chance at life after a premature death. This is a dream thought impossible by nearly everyone, but in reality the opposite is true.

Welcome to the Underground, or as the denizens of this world call it, the UG. You see, every city and town in the world has a UG counterpart- each with different, unique rules. At this moment, you stand in the UG of New York- one of the most populated cities in America. Your goal is a simple one: Live seven days. Survive the trials the Reaper's throw at you, and get your second chance. Fail, and lose your right to exist.

I tried to keep it simple. Please note, like in the Shibuya UG, everyone will need a partner in this game to survive. You may either create two characters, or choose to partner up with another roleplayer. You can either decide this beforehand or do so when prompted to in the story. Please state which one youm -plan- to do. You may have to make adjustments based on the number of players, etc.

Appearance: Dresses in grey clothing, grey wavy hair, grey eyes, average height, no accent. (Because you can see accents >_>)
General description: A New Zealander on holiday to New York when he died. His mother was a businesswoman and his father was a politician, and they both were on a business trip. He pretty much had free reign over his life, seeing as his parents were always working. His entry fee was his individuality.
Additional notes: Cell phone is an iPhone. Can't Use Lapin Angelique or Natural Puppy Pins

Appearance: Long black hair that reaches to her mid-back, pitch-black eyes, average height, and skinny. She wears gothic clothes: Black dresses with frills, black boots with and straps, white gloves, a black, frilly choker, and a black bonnet with white frills. She carries a black parasol that has white frills along its edges.
General description: Megumi moved to New York when she was 9, and has lived there ever since. She has a beautiful singing voice and was part of a small band with her friends. Her entry fee was her voice.
Additional notes: She can only use Lapin Angelique and Sheep Heavenly pins. Her weapon is her black, frilly parasol. She has a black cell phone.

Age: 16 (technically 44, but for all intents and purposes he is 16)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Average height, neck-length black hair, very dark gray eyes. Wears mostly black: black shoes, black pants, black belts, black jacket, and a dark gray T-shirt with the kanji for "greed" written on it (in black, of course).
General description: Alex lived with his parents and younger twin sister for the first ten years of his life. After the death of his parents, the two siblings were split up, and Alex went to live with some friends. Years later, he was accepted into a private academy, where he then resided. During the summer vacation, however, he decided to visit New York, and it was during this trip that he suffered his demise. His entry fee was his memories of every person he knew in life.
Additional notes: His weapon is a slightly modified bullet-less revolver, which he refers to as Sole (the black and gray color scheme is a given). He is also incapable of using Angel-class pins.
