The night sky was filled with stars, the city light seemed to be nonexistant. The time read 11:30pm as Kyon entered the main stream of Tokyo. The night had a werid feeling to it. Kyon stared up at the sky.
"The moon shines brightly," he though to himself.
Kyon took out his D.A.T. once again to check the time.
"A new message, thats weird"
Kyon quicky went to his inbox to read his new message, it was strange for him to get messages as he had little friends.

Look up in to the sky at the center of the sword

"What the... That doesnt make any since!" Kyon quitly though to himself.

He looked up at the sky again, the sky had always fasinated him.
Seven shooting stars flew by in the sky.

Well you guys know how to RP, so take it away, sorry my first post is short but meh. oh and the "D.A.T" is basicly the new PET/Transer. It stands for Data Analysis Transfer.

But yeah this is "Day 1" so what happens on Day 1 with you person is up to you. every 48hr in RL is 1 day in the rp.

Stephen glanced at his own DAT. It was styled like the older-model PETs, nothing special. He looked upward. Mars was supposesd to be visible tonight, and he wanted to see it. Instead, he saw the seven shooting stars... They looked so far away.

Trevor rubbed one of his filthy gloves across his forehead, trying to keep the sweat out of his eyes. It was almost near midnight, he decided, and everyone else was working in another tunnel, probably about ready to head into camp soon.

"Not gonna allow another empty day..." Trevor said aloud, taking his pickaxe from his shoulder and into the hard rock once more. He had strayed away from the main group of diggers a while back, deciding that sticking to the main route wouldn't bring anything of interest up to the surface. "Have about an hour left before the boss forces us out, gotta make 'em count..."

Mathias was lying down on the snow looking up on the nightsky that was being lit up by an aurora. "I wish that the nightsky will be this beautiful forever." he thought to himself, then he noticed something, seven shooting stars.
"Wow, seven shooting stars at the same time, it made the nightsky look more beautiful, even if it was for just a few seconds.".

Schero sat in a chair by a window, reading a book illuminated by the fading sunlight. She looked into the sunset to see seven streaks of light pass by over the fading sun. She watched until they disappeared with the sun. Behind her, a lamp turned on as the sun disappeared, flooding the room for light. She turned away from the window and continued to read.

In China, it was the middle of the day, so Louis didn't see the stars. He was looking over the Great Wall. "So... they built the bones of anyone who died working on the wall... into the wall? Must have saved them some money on stone."

James, sprawled out in his chair, looked blearily at his D.A.T to check how many messages he had. Only three were actual messages of importance, and one of those was a party invitation.
"Why do I feel so unfufilled? I have everything I wanted and longed for since I left, except...I just don't feel complete. I don't know why, but I feel like a lone star...hey, stars...", he murmured, noticing seven shooting stars in the sky. Sitting up with renewed vitality and interest, he thought to himself, "This is odd. I have not seen tha before. Reminds me of Super Mario RPG. Perhaps some unknown force has invaded our universe and broke the star road. Now a party of five heroes are going to put things right and make an awesome adventure out of it." James chuckled wildly as he grabbed his chip set to the floater outside his house. "Although I do want a nice look at what those were, perhaps someone was watching the telescope at teh observatory and recorded it". He briskly walked out into the mild, humid air, not knowing how true his joke may have been.

Taariq was sitting in his room with a few friends. They were joking around and telling jokes, so it wasn't a surprise when he didn't hear his DAT ring the first time. Second time, one of his friends did.

"Look outside"

Scared now, as the number that sent him the message was one he did not know, he slowly walked to the window and spotted seven shooting stars... How *censor*...

"Somebody has a staaaaaalker"

"Look the doors tonight!"

His friends were screwing with him now... but he still shut all the doors and checked all the windows.

Kyon took his normal walk home that night, the route where nothing happened. The night clubs were on the other side of the city, but he prefered it that way.

He approched mid distance from where he started to where he would end up, but tonight he didnt feel right. The message replayed in his head as if it where on repeat.

"gah why me?!" he let out with a sigh.
"Well this thing isnt going away on its own..."

And he ran off towards the center of swords

He had dozed off, leaning against a tree. In his dreams, he saw what looked like a star crash into the ground... He went near it... He snapped awake, glancing around. "Who's there?" A small chitter in response, he realized that it was only a squirrel. He leaned back against the tree, dozing off again.

A dark warrior, face shrouded in darkness, leaping here and there, dodging blows from some unseen enemy... A pair of katanas was gripped in its hands, flashing brightly... One of them shifted into some sort of dark weapon, like a rifle, firing a stream of bullets that seemed to destroy his foe. He snapped awake again. "Odd..." he mutters, deciding to get up and walk around.

James arrived at the observatory, letting himself in. Being the day janitor at the place did have SOME benefits. Whistling a jaunty tune to himself, he walked to the security center and quickly watched the starfall once more. He noted to himself that the stars were playing tricks on the nonoptic cameras, it seemed that they were falling evenly on the same location, but that could not have been so, according to the seismic activity.

This was quite distressing to James. He decided to just run back home and load a cooler, he was going for a nice long trip to discover this mystery in the morning.

While putting a book back in its place in a bookself, Schero felt a splitting pain in her head. She fell to her knees, clutching her head with one hand, the other slowly knocking books off of the shelf. One fell on her head, and landed on the ground next to her, its black, wordless cover staring at her. Her headache subsiding, she put up the rest of the books and wnet to read the black one.

For Louis, it was still the middle of the day. His DAT showed the message, but he didn't seem to notice.

His friends had left, and he was still awake, alone in his room, fiddling with his DAT. He put on the song "Surviving the Times" by Nas and went over to open his window, still scared of what had happened... and who. Nothing unusual out there, anyways. Shutting his window once more, he went over to his bed to lay down, and started to screw around with his DAT.

"Something felt wrong... something was up," he thought. Must be..

He shook it off and blamed it on the mysterious message... which was, quite messed up and odd.
