This on the other hand was some joke thing they were doing, similar to how we had Blaine, except without the contest and more of a "just for fun".

Meh. Not a fan of this, it felt weak to me. The seeming imminent return of Giovanni also bothered me.

Their "looking forward" articles, opinion or not, aren't much fun to read. They don't "look forward" as much as they point out rather obvious trends in the past generations. The Origin of Series is well thought out and has a lot of research poured into it; that writer is good at what he does. But the other "opinion" articles, such as this... What's the point, really? They're a flat and weak read.

The blowback I've seen from many of these articles, and I do mean abroad, not just @PLDH, is pretty heavy. Perhaps my negligence in posting one isn't necessarily a bad thing. Even though BulbaGarden specifically states the opinions in those articles are solely those of the author and do not reflect those of the general community... You still associate that site with those opinions... At least a lot of the response to those articles seems to be that way.

Not to say BulbaGarden is taking massive reductions in traffic because of these articles but there could be some opinionated blowback from the outside about the broader BG community. If people were posting opinion pieces that were contrarian to the ones that get blowback, things would balance out. As well, and I could be alone on this, but they've really slacked on timely and efficient news coverage as of late...

It wouldn't matter if you woke up one morning and decided to make an article. They'd just delete it until they're well aware of PLDH.

Jungle got themselves their article after...
A) Paul kept bringing up in his blog posts how he didn't have one.
B) He got sourced in the PokeShifter article.

Sure, a pretty biased article probably written by a frequent visitor, but that's besides the point.

They've already deleted other articles in the past, I remember at one point they were deleting them and justifying it by saying "we have X, whom we have never heard of, but don't have X [Filb or Pokebeach, which they have now]."
