Not sure why, but I had an urge to play through Platinum again, and to make a topic about it.

Started earlier this week, and right now I'm at the Safari Zone trying to catch Yanma (and only 4 badges). This is a unique run because I'm using a couple of Pokemon I either haven't used in a long time, or haven't used all the way through a playthrough, or even haven't used period. I'm also nicknaming all of my Pokemon this run, something I rarely do unless removing the ALL CAPS.

Figured I'd record all of this, and make a bit of a game out of it.

• Nicknames a Pokemon needing a nickname.
• Posts a better nickname than what I have for a Pokemon and I like it.

Not changing E. Nigma and Palpatine though, and Spectrical is -not- spectacle + electrical.

Knowledge about me, what I refer to things or people as, etc, might help you but not entirely necessary unless I know I need to explain something.

And with that, let's try this out. We're done with cracking codes until I catch some new Pokemon, but you can always give better nicknames.

Empoleon is an emperor penguin, and in star wars, Palpatine is the emperor.
Moses is referring to the bible and parting the red sea. Beavers make dams which can divide the body of water on
Spectrical is referencing the waves of light and other forms of waves (gamma, x-ray, radio, etc.) Rotom has a light aura around him and can pass through objects.

And TH got Palpatine and Moses right. Main post has been edited. I liked your reasoning for Spectrical, but that one is a lot less complex. In fact, it's a rather lame combination I thought of because I couldn't think of anything better.

E. Nigma is the name of achievement/trophy in Batman Arkham Asylum for solving all the riddlers riddles on an island. more to the point, E. Nigma is a fire type, Blaine's favorite type. Blaine + Riddler=

Specifically, E. Nigma is the Riddler's alias ("Edward Nigma", Enigma means "Mystery"), but yeah, that's pretty much it. I, among others, tend to refer to Blaine as The Riddler for easy to see reasons. Sendin' karma.
