#55 - What do you expect from the Pokémon franchise..
Discuss, if you wish...
Realize, those options have an exception... We already know Platinum, a major release, is going to be coming in 2009, as such those options exclude it...

Everyone knows what I voted for >_>

I'm sick of always hearing
All the sad songs on the radio
All day it is there to remind

That he's lost and alone

I want more games. I'd like a Wii title in the veins of XD or Colliseum, so we can actually do something other than "OMG 3D BATTALS!"
Also, I'm gonna get lynched for this, but I din't really care about a G/S remake. I found G/S/C to be the most forgetable generation.

Agreed.
Though I think Hoenn is the worst of the four.

I liked Hoenn. >___>
I'd really like a Colo/XD Wii game. So maybe we'll get news on that, and prolly what Mikkel said.

Hoenn was my fav. That might be because it was the first game I put real effort into.
It was the only game I went and evolved verything I could.

DPP>GSC>RBY>RSE
DPP is the best set to date.
GSC is pretty forgrettable (Forgot about most of the town NAMES until recently. I also wasn't a fan of the color palette)
RBY was...meh
RSE was horrible.

What's so bad about RSE? >__>
RSE > DPP > GSC > RBY
Not that GSC is bad.

I'd say R/S/E > D/P/Pt = R/B/Y > G/S/C
I'm afraid I have to mark Sinnoh down for the Great Marsh, the most frustrating area EVAR!
And why hate R/S/E? It brought fresh pokémon to the field immediatly, not this G/S/C nonsense of mostly old pokémon in the begining with few new ones.

Horrible color palette.
Bad text.
The stupidest looking sprites in a pokemon game (LEGS?! REALLY?)
The worst male protagnoist in a pokemon game to date. (inb4beret)
The ugliest new pokemon in all new gens.
Most forgettable E4 EVER.
Shall I go on?

Re: #55 - What do you expect from the Pokémon franchise..
How is brandon worse than Lucas?
Brandon was new, and didnt have the standard hat, that white stuff that everyone thinks is hair is actually a hat... Brandon has brown hair fyi. Also he didnt look like a fruit. I mean srsly look how skinny his arms are...
Anyway I actually could not ranking them outside of R/B/Y being the best in my book. Each gen brough something differnt to the table that I really enjoyed and something that I really didnt enjoy.
GOOD
R/B/Y- It started it off, awesome pokemon, pretty challenging in some parts
G/S/C- New pokemon, Day/Night, had 2 regions
R/S/E- More new pokemon, Battle Frontier, competitive battling, cool region enviornment wise
D/P/Pt- Snow, Wifi, a lot of evo's for pokes that needed them, cool plot line
Bad
R/B/Y- hard to find training spots outside of the E4, computer suckage
G/S/C- took a while to get new pokemon, Leveling was a pain, Kanto was watered down
R/S/E-No Day Night, not very good sprites as they were basicly the Sugi art
D/P/Pt-Lame characters, not enough touch screen (srsly the pc would have been perfect for all touch)
/oppinion

Re: #55 - What do you expect from the Pokémon franchise..
How ISN'T DPP Protagonist better than RSE Protagonist?
1: Who cares if it's hair or a hat. It looks lame on his head either way.
2: Sweatpants. Good GOD sweatpants. And a sweatshirt for that matter. Way to look like a grade A *censor*.
Compared to Lucas:
1: Beret. Even this can be debated as a negative feature because I'd be lying if I didn't say I prefer the beret over the weird hat from the previous generation.
2: Skinny arms? wat. It's an artist's style. Please note that Nomura seems to draw skinnier and skinnier for official Final Fantasy art. If Sora were as skinny as all the art showed him as for KH2, it would have been a spinoff of Paper Mario.
3: In Platinum he turns awesome with what could be the best shirt ever worn by a protagnist ever.

Re: #55 - What do you expect from the Pokémon franchise..
I'm with TH, Brandon >>>>> Lucas. The other two are clones of the first, where Brandon is actually original.
RSE has the best starters, big change up in the plot compared to the other games before it, memorable new pokemon, great region (environment wise like TH said), and the E4 isn't forgettable (mohawk man Sydney, island person Phoebe, fancy lady Glacie [though this is really just Lorelei v2], and the sailor man Drake, then Wallace and Stevan).
Because the scarf and handsign for a pistol screams manliness.
